Dr. Jason E. Baker

Dr. Jason Baker chose dentistry for its unique blend of medicine and creative expression. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center. In 2006, Dr. Baker and his family relocated to the Emerald Coast, and in 2011 he opened Miramar Beach Dental & Orthodontics to serve the local community.
Dr. Baker is known for his passion for dentistry and his commitment to patient care. He believes the success of the practice comes not only from his dedication to the profession, but also from the welcoming environment created by the entire team. The office is designed to feel warm, comfortable, and family-oriented, so patients always know their health and comfort come first. In the spring of 2015, the practice moved into its current location, which was thoughtfully designed to provide comprehensive care under one roof and reduce the need for patients to visit multiple specialists.
With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Baker has helped patients achieve healthier, more confident smiles through a wide range of orthodontic treatments. His areas of focus include orthodontics, sedation dentistry, and surgical services. He is experienced in Invisalign and SureSmile clear aligner therapy, traditional braces, dentofacial orthopedics, and surgical approaches used to support accelerated orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Baker is also licensed to provide conscious sedation, using oral or intravenous medications to help patients feel relaxed and comfortable during treatment. In addition, he has extensive experience performing oral surgical procedures such as impacted wisdom tooth removal, dental implant placement, and bone augmentation to support implants or same-day teeth.
